Aluminum Alloy Solutions for Oil Tank Trucks
Aluminum alloy materials are integral components in the manufacturing of oil tank trucks, playing a crucial role in enhancing their structural integrity, durability, and operational efficiency.
MESSAGE
Overview
Aluminum alloy materials are core materials for oil tank truck manufacturing, mainly adopting 5000 series alloys (5083, 5182, 5454, etc.) and 6000 series alloys (6061, 6082). Compared with traditional steel materials, aluminum alloy products (aluminum plate, aluminum bar, etc.) reduce the self-weight of oil tank trucks, greatly improving the effective payload and reducing fuel consumption. They also feature excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, good weldability and formability, and can maintain stable performance in harsh working environments such as oil corrosion, salt spray and high temperature. As a key material to realize the lightweight, safety and environmental protection of oil tank trucks, they are widely used in the manufacturing of fuel, chemical and gas transportation tank trucks, and have become the first choice for modern oil tank truck production with reliable quality and comprehensive performance.

Feature
1.Lightweight and high strength: The weight is only 1/3 of that of steel, with high tensile and yield strength. It can reduce the self-weight of oil tank trucks and improve payload without sacrificing structural stability.
2.Superior corrosion and oil resistance: 5000 series Al-Mg alloy forms a dense oxide film on the surface, which can effectively resist corrosion of oil, chemical liquid and salt spray, and has no rust and deformation for long-term outdoor use.
3.Excellent weldability and compatibility: Matching with ER5183/ER5356 welding wire, the weld seam is firm and leak-proof without cracking; all parts can be perfectly welded and assembled, with high connection strength and no separation under heavy load.
4.Good formability and machinability: The plate has high plasticity, easy to be stamped, bent and rolled into various tank body shapes without cracking; the bar is suitable for CNC precision machining such as cutting, drilling and threading, with high machining accuracy.
5.No internal stress and anti-cracking: Produced by high-precision cold rolling and forging processes, the internal stress is completely eliminated, and there is no deformation or cracking during cutting, forming and assembly, which ensures the structural integrity of the oil tank truck.
6.Stable high-temperature performance: It can maintain stable mechanical strength at higher service temperatures, and is suitable for the transportation of high-temperature media and the long-term outdoor high-temperature working environment of oil tank trucks.
7.Environmental protection and recyclable: 100% recyclable with low recycling energy consumption, in line with green transportation requirements; the recycled materials can be reused for the production of oil tank truck materials, which effectively saves resources and reduces environmental pollution.
